Kicking off the fall semester! Join us in person at BUS 201 or hop on Zoom if you can't make it to campus — either way, you'll get the full rundown on what the Career Collective has planned this semester. All majors welcome, no experience needed.
General Meeting In-Person or ZoomWe hosted an exclusive Q&A with Sajid Veera, a self-made entrepreneur who turned vision into a multimillion dollar business. Students got real insights on what it takes to build, scale, and succeed, plus a chance to network with driven peers. It was held May 11th at BUS 201 and was free and open to all SMC students.
The Career Collective made its debut at SMC's Club Row — one of the biggest student outreach events on campus. Our team set up a booth to introduce the club to students, share what we're all about, and sign up new members interested in exploring their career paths. Complete with handmade signs, balloons, candy, and good energy — it was a great first showing for the club.

Sets the vision for the club, leads meetings, and drives partnerships with professionals and the SMC community.
Supports the President, steps in when needed, and helps coordinate events and club initiatives from start to finish.
Keeps the club organized — managing meeting notes, communications, scheduling, and internal records.
Runs our Instagram and LinkedIn, creates content, and shapes the club's voice and brand across all platforms.
Oversees the day-to-day running of the club, manages logistics, and makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Spreads the word through flyers and campus advertising, and connects with potential guest speakers for our events.
Represents the club within SMC's Inter-Club Council, building relationships across the campus club network.
Manages the club's budget, tracks expenses, and ensures we have the resources to put on great events.
